William Viney is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial University.

Previously, he was a Research Associate in the Department of Anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London, and an Honorary Research Associate in the Patient Experience Research Centre, Imperial College London. William is a member of ‘People Like You’: Contemporary Figures of Personalisation, a project investigating practices associated with personalised healthcare and research. He is also a participant in a longitudinal bioresource and was a study-facing member of METADAC, a data and samples access infrastructure for nine UK longitudinal studies. 

William is the author of two books, Twins (2021) and Waste (2014).
