Dr Laura Carter was Senior Researcher and programme lead for Public sector use of data and algorithms at the Ada Lovelace Institute.
Laura has a PhD in Human Rights Research Methods from the University of Essex, on gender stereotyping and discrimination in public sector data sharing. She has previously worked as a researcher and policy advisor on gender and LGBTI rights for Amnesty International, and holds an MA in Gender Studies from SOAS and a BA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
