Hannah Claus is a Gates Cambridge and ELLIS Scholar completing her PhD at the University of Cambridge. Hannah was a Research Assistant at the Ada Lovelace Institute, supporting the Emerging Technology & Industry Practice research domain.
Prior to joining Ada, Hannah completed a MSc in Artificial Intelligence at Queen Mary University of London as a DeepMind Scholar. She is interested in how fields such as robotics and natural language processing (NLP) can be used for the benefit of different communities and society.
As well as the technical aspects, Hannah is interested in the ethical considerations of AI, particularly the explainability of systems and accessibility of information for people affected by these technologies.
