Federica is a BRAID Fellow at the Ada Lovelace Institute. She leads a project titled Anticipating Today aiming to create tools that help policymakers to anticipate the ethical and societal implications of emerging technologies. The project uses co-design approaches and is inspired by the concept of ‘moral imagination’.
Federica is Associate Professor in Ethics of Technology at the Ethox Centre, based at the University of Oxford. With an academic background in the philosophy and ethics of science and technology, and science and technology studies, her research brings together empirical and normative aspects related to technological innovations in the biomedical field.
