Jamie is an independent AI policy researcher who has worked with the Institute for AI Policy and Strategy (IAPS) and the Centre for the Governance of AI (GovAI). His research investigates how society can adapt to the increasing presence and capabilities of AI systems. He previously co-founded BlueDot Impact, where he designed and ran the AI Safety Fundamentals course – shaping many professionals’ introduction to the field.
