Helen Hollis is Senior Researcher (Public Participation & Research Practice) at the Ada Lovelace Institute. Her work involves designing, developing and overseeing public participation research projects, with a qualitative focus.

Helena’s past research has emphasised participatory methods, with a social justice orientation. She has a background in Information Studies and Community Studies. Prior to joining Ada, Helena worked at the Institute for Community Studies within the Young Foundation, and at Connected by Data where she worked to give affected communities a voice in decision-making around data and AI.
