Cristina is a Researcher at the Ada Lovelace Institute, focusing on EU Public Policy, specifically on EU and international governance and regulation proposals and AI accountability and risk management.

Cristina has a background in political science and AI Ethics and completed an MSt in AI Ethics and Society at the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining Ada, she was a Senior Researcher at the Digital Regulators Cooperation Forum, where she led a research project on the AI assurance market. Her research interests include AI standards, AI assurance, AI procurement and infusing meaningful public engagement in AI governance mechanisms.
