Dr Shwetha Ramachandrappa is a Consultant clinical Geneticist working at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital. She is also part of the research team at the Genes and Health Study, a community based genetics study focused on individuals of Pakistani and Bangladeshi heritage.  She has been an active member of the board of trustees of the rare chromosome disorder support group ‘Unique’ for over three years and is the current president of the medical genetics section of the Royal Society of Medicine.
